We are engaged in a secret cupcake project. I can’t tell you who, and I can’t tell you what, because then I’d have to kill you. (We take our cupcake security very seriously.)
However, I can let this tidbit out: making your own ganache is surprisingly easy, and well worth the effort. We used the recipe found here, and it is quite delish. A word of caution, though….it doesn’t work with white chocolate (I guess because white “chocolate” isn’t really chocolate–I’m not sure exactly what it is.) So next time you need a chocolate-y frosting for something, my advice is go with ganache.
